Hi my name is Payton. I am currently a sophomore at Ellensburg High School. I have played club volleyball for 4 years,  basketball for 7 years, and competitive softball for 4 years. This year I was the starting middle on our varsity volleyball team and a varsity post player for the basketball team. I have had several accomplishments in all sports before high school, including all-star teams and sportsmanship awards.  This year as a Freshman was especially rewarding.  Our team won the league and district championships, which took us to the state 2A tournament.  I was voted CWAC all-league honorable mention and also the Kittitas Valley Fall Freshman athlete. I lettered as a Freshman earning most blocks for the team and had a 95% serving average.  In addition to sports, I show cattle nationwide and sheep locally. Showing cattle is like a second nature to me because I have been showing since I was 3 years old. I have been fortunate enough to have won the grand champion steer award at my fair twice and have won fitting and showing for both sheep and cattle. Showing livestock has taught me responsibility and work ethic, which has helped me a lot on the volleyball court. I am open to any position in college and would like to play anywhere at the highest level possible. At the moment I would like to be a nurse or a dermatologist.  I’m beyond excited to play for the CRU this year!
